The first TALANOA Water workshop of the french lab -Lower Aude river basin- was held in June 16^th 2022 in Gruissan. It gathered about 40 people including farmer representatives, research, state and local administrations, water authorities, NGOs and water managers. The workshop objective was both to present the project objective and approach as well as initiate the participative work (shared language on water governance, participant expectations for the project, lack of knowledge identification, driving factors, strategies). A final anonymous evaluation enabled to state that participants are enthusiastic about the project and its ambition, but suggest that the governance of the project should be further elaborated and clarified. The next workshops will happen in autumn, winter 2022.
