On the 30th of April 2021, PRIMA and USAL signed the Grant Agreement for the action entitled Talanoa Water Dialogue for Transformational Adaptation to Water Scarcity Under Climate Change — TALANOA-WATER. TALANOA-WATER is an innovation action with a budget of EUR 2 462 931.25, 7 partners from 6 countries (Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, Italy, France and Spain), and a duration of 48 months. All partners must have signed the Accession Form by May, while the project will officially start on 1st June 2021. The kick-off meeting, initially planned to take place at USAL premises in Salamanca, will be held online due to the mobility restrictions in force in partner countries because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The kick-off meeting will last one day. The agenda is detailed in the following pages. The TALANOA-WATER kick-off meeting will serve to formally meet the members of the partners’ teams; initiate the project management bodies; create a common understanding of the objectives and methods and of the roles and tasks of each partner (as per the DoW); establish effective collaborative dynamics; and set the tone for the rest of the project (meetings, workflow).
